He has a sound appreciation of the development of project management offices, a backbone of project management covering health and safety, governance, risk management, process controls, scheduling and budget performance. With a demonstrated ability in developing high performing teams, Shaun’s depth of commercial knowledge and ability to harness critical issues sets him apart as a leader with the ability to effect change.
Respected as a credible voice, Shaun has championed thought leadership forums in Christchurch to challenge the status quo and help rebuild our great city. These forums include AECOMs Sentiment Survey and Christchurch Connected series which are both designed to create ideas and insights to help shape our city thinking and are widely valued by key Christchurch business leaders.
As AECOMs South Island Regional Manager, Shaun overseas the operations of 150+ engineers, designers, planners, management and construction services professionals. This year (2016) AECOM Christchurch won the RCIS, Quantity Surveying Team of the year award and a finalist in the Champion Canterbury Business Awards.
Shaun began his career in Civil Engineering before becoming a Strategic Advisor on Infrastructure. He has worked with different cultures, organisations and across different continents (Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia) understanding different customs of workplaces.
Shaun’s passion outside work includes triathlon, multi-sports and surfing. Shaun is married and has a 10 year old son.
