Brief Overview

Organisations have a significant duty of care to everyone involved in the business. Because you need to protect anyone who may be affected by the workplace environment, a comprehensive health and safety plan is critical to every company, regardless of size or sector.

Over the course of this 4 module programme, you"ll learn the processes involved in planning, implementing and evaluating your organisation's occupational health and safety policies.

Who should attend

If you want to move into an OHS practioner role, or you are responsible for workplace health  and safety in your current role, this programme will provide a solid foundation of skills.

To be able to complete this course you will need to be employed by an organisation which will allow you access to their health and safety management system.

Helen Mason, Steve Cooper & Alan Boswell

Helen Mason (CECC, Health and Safety Consultant) brings a depth and breadth of experience having spent over 15 years specialising in health and safety combined with a background in human resources and adult teaching.

Steve Cooper, Health & Safety Consultant. Steve has extensive experience with the systematic management of hazards and risks in the workplace and a comprehensive understanding of health and safety auditing programmes. Steve is focused on ‘win-win’ outcomes and believes in tailoring health and safety systems to suit the individual organisational needs of CECC Members and Clients.

Alan Boswell (CECC, Health and Safety Consultant) has extensive experience with hazard management systems and the implementation of controls. Alan is able to understand the needs of any organisation and design a health and safety programme to suit.
