On June 24 New Zealand is set to officially celebrate Nga Mata o te Ariki, more commonly known as Matariki, for the first time with a public holiday.
Join us for this important session exploring how to recognise and appreciate the significance of Matariki.
Our Speakers:
Anton Mathews (Owner of bilingual restaurant FUSH)
Anton will provide insight into the traditional Maori perspective, you’ll hear about the cluster itself, what the traditions associated with Matariki are and how many celebrate it. Anton is an experienced and passionate public speaker who has spoken to tens of thousands of people over the years.
Alice Moore (Co-Founder & Director of Communications at Mint Design)
Alice’s love for educating businesses about all things business and marketing is keenly felt through her contagious enthusiasm, and passion for helping ambitious Kiwi businesses grow. Alice will set the scene for a conversation that is both curious and courageous, drawing out valuable knowledge and connections on this important topic.
