A Conversation on Trade
New Zealand's Current and Prospective Trade Negotiations
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) negotiators will join us to talk to New Zealand’s current and prospective trade negotiations. Please join us for a business breakfast.
Two MFAT Lead Negotiators, Martin Harvey and Brad Burgess, will present on the following:
- A European Union-New Zealand free trade agreement;
- The Pacific Alliance free trade agreement negotiations with Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru;
- New Zealand’s Trade Policy Dialogue with the United Kingdom;
- Other notable trade agreements, including the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
Presentations will be followed by time for Q&A – MFAT’s negotiators are keen to hear your priorities and interests in these FTAs.
