Women's Leadership Series Workshops
Our workshops and seminars are designed to develop your skills and provide practical tools and advice to help you develop your leadership, governance and/or management skills. Providing a safe place to discuss strategies and tough issues. You can attend the whole series or individual workshops.
Workshop 1 - Growth Mindset
Friday 28 July, 9.30am - 12.30pm

The power of mindset is undeniable - whether you think you can, or think you can’t ... you’ll be right! Talent alone is not enough to succeed but rather it’s the way that we think about their ability that really counts. This session will equip you to identify, develop and support a growth mindset, attitude and perspective in yourself and others.
You will learn:
- How to identify if you have a growth or fixed mindset
- The barriers to developing a growth mindset
- How to foster growth mindsets in yourself and others
- Practical and effective ways to promote focus in a work environment

Workshop 2 - Coaching Skills for Success

Coaching is an invaluable tool for those who want to motivate and support individuals and teams to improve performance, develop new skills and manage change.

Workshop 3 - Presenting with Impact
Wednesday 28 February 2018, 9.00am – 12.30pm
with Roseanne Gedye
This workshop covers three vital ingredients to set your presentations apart from others, and provide you with the confidence and tools to deliver in an engaging manner.
You will learn:
- How to develop a strong structure
- The foundations of extemporaneous style
- The key to being tellingly confident
Note: The workshop concludes with a ‘vocal diagnostic’ session where each participant gets up and delivers a small aspect of a presentation. During this you will receive personal feedback on stance and vocal delivery.

An expert in the field of communication she teaches the Bachelor of International Communication degree at UNITEC School of Communication, and is described as being a creative, enthusiastic and innovative presenter. |
